Dr. Simon Millar
Dr. Simon Millar graduated from Bramalea Secondary School in 1975 where he met his wife and future partner, Susan. He studied at the University of Toronto, receiving an Honours BSc degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry in 1979 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1983.
Simon and Susan moved back to the Brampton area and started the family dental practice here at 9780 Bramalea Road. They worked closely with the medical group in the same building including Simon’s father, Dr. David Millar and his sister, Dr. Barbara Millar. Over the years the practice has evolved and focused on primary dental care for local families in the Brampton community. We have had the pleasure of knowing and treating so many wonderful patients, many of them lifelong patients. It has been so rewarding to know our patients over this extended period of time and then treat the next generation as they bring their children to the office for dental care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Millar has been involved in ongoing extensive continuing education and has always been interested in learning about the “latest and greatest” in the dental field. He has been a member of and served on the executive of the Brampton District Dental Society, as well as maintaining membership in the Halton-Peel Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Millar’s passion for dentistry and the people he has met through it remain obvious to this day. As he transitions to a part-time role, he looks forward to continuing being available to his patients in a reduced role. This will allow Simon and Susan more time to enjoy their home in the country, hiking, skiing, gardening, woodlot management, travelling and their brand new grandchildren.
