Education and experience

A path shaped by science, dentistry and community care

Dr. Ibrahimli completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Economics at the University of Toronto before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University.

During dental school, he received the Dr. Paul S. Sills Award in Prosthodontics for clinical work in that area. His education also included an externship in Moose Factory, where he was among a small group of students providing dental care in a remote community setting.

After graduation, Dr. Ibrahimli practised in Peterborough and continued developing experience across general dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontic and cosmetic procedures within the scope of a general dentist. He now provides care at North Bramalea Dental in Brampton.

Approach to care

What guides each appointment

Good decisions start with an accurate assessment and a conversation that patients can follow. Dr. Ibrahimli’s approach emphasizes these practical elements.

A

Ask and listen

Understanding symptoms, goals, health history and comfort concerns comes before recommendations.

E

Explain clearly

Findings, alternatives, expected costs and relevant risks and benefits are discussed before planned care.

P

Plan appropriately

Treatment is based on individual clinical needs, with referrals when care outside a general dentist’s scope is appropriate.
